Inspired by the creativity, sound, and cultural impact of Pharrell Williams, this piece blends movement, emotion, and storytelling through color. The composition is centered around his iconic hand gesture associated with the Star Trak Entertainment era, while each square of color was inspired by a DJ set curated from Pharrell’s greatest hits—translating rhythm, nostalgia, and energy into visual form. The work was featured in the “Virginia is for Music Lovers” exhibit at the Black History Museum in Virginia (his home state).
