From the  painting titled “Doc & Ludesta” inspired by the stories of Juneteenth parades in Texas where streets would be closed as large parades stretching a mile would fill them. The joy, the energy and the movement of the parade dancers was the inspiration for the painting and named after two individuals I could imagine dancing down the street.
