Inspired by the stories of Juneteenth parades in Texas, where streets would be closed as large parades stretched more than a mile. The joy, the energy, and the movement of the parade dancers was inspiration for the painting. The painting is named after two individuals the artist could imagine dancing down the street in celebration.
